Lalandia remains one of Denmark’s most popular holiday destinations. The water parks in Billund and Rødby welcome more than 1.2 million visitors annually. And that volume places significant demands on recruitment. In a highly seasonal industry, there is a constant need for on-call and seasonal staff.
“We probably have around 20 ‘regular’ recruitments annually, and then we hire more than 100 seasonal employees who apply unsolicited through our system. Lalandia has been a Paychex Europe’s (formerly Emply’s) customer for just over a year. When asked which feature provides the most value, Kirsten answers immediately:
“The job ad setup! In the past, we spent a lot of resources creating job postings. Just the time our graphic designer spent formatting them was a significant cost. Now we can create job ads ourselves in a short time and decide where to promote them. It has been a huge help and a major saving for us.”
As a super user, Kirsten is responsible for training managers in the system — a task she describes as straightforward:
“It’s an extremely intuitive system. It has been incredibly easy to train my colleagues.”
Support has also been smooth:
